SUST held 2019 International Conference on Environmental Nano-science and Technology

From April 26th to 29th, the 2019 International Conference on Environmental Nano-science and Technology was successfully held in the Academic Report Hall, Humanities Building of SUST. The conference was hosted by school and College of Environmental Science and Engineering. President MA Jianzhong attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. More than 200 experts and scholars from five continents and 12 countries attended the conference also.
MA Jianzhong delivered an opening speech for the conference. He first expressed sincere welcome to the experts and scholars from all over the world, and expressed his gratitude to all the friends who have long been concerned about supporting the development of our university. MA Jianzhong briefly introduced the 60 years of striving and the main achievements of our university. He pointed out that building a clean and beautiful world is an important aspect of building the community of human destiny. How to effectively carry out environmental governance and seek global ecological civilization construction is a common issue facing us. He emphasized that Nano-science and technology have broad application prospects in environmental governance. The College of Environmental Science and Engineering has formed distinctive research in the fields of sewage treatment, soil pollution restoration, air pollution prevention and control, etc. All experts and scholars are top talents in this field. It is hoped that all parties will conduct in-depth exchanges and discussions, clean up ideas, enlighten wisdom, and contribute to building a better home for the planet. At the same time, we hope that experts at the conference will provide valuable opinions on the development of related disciplines.
