Speaker profile:
Uwe SCHNEIDER received his Ph.D. from the Research Institute of Fine Organic Chemistry (IRCOF) in France in 2003, postdoctoral research at the University of Tokyo in Japan from 2004 to 2006, and assistant professor at the University of Tokyo from 2007 to 2011. He is currently the University of Edinburgh (The University of Edinburgh). Edinburgh) Associate Professor of Lifelong Faculty of Chemistry. Research interests include C-H and C-C bond activation, asymmetric catalysis and main group elemental chemistry. Up to now, more than 40 SCI papers have been published in authoritative journals, including 5 JACS and 3 ACIE.
