Lincoln University – SUST Design Works Exhibition was held in our school

On the morning of June 24th, the opening ceremony of the design work of the University of Lincoln - Shaanxi University of Science and Technology was held in the College of Design and Art. XUE Chaohua, deputy director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of our university, DU Zhibo, secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Design and Art, Dave Bramston, professor of the College of Art, Lincoln University, UK, and teachers and students gathered together to attend the opening ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, XUE Chaohua expressed his welcome to the teachers and students from the University of Lincoln, who attended the exhibition, and congratulated the opening of the exhibition. He pointed out that in recent years; the College of Design has carried out various forms of foreign exchange activities, expanding the horizons and visions of teachers and students. This exhibition is a concentrated display of the results of foreign exchanges. I hope that through this exhibition, we will deepen the artistic exchanges and cooperation between the two universities and wish the exhibition a complete success.

Dave Bramston first thanked the College of Design for the opportunity to provide this art exchange. He said that this is his first visit to Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, and he is very interested in the works of our students, hoping to reach deep communication. This Sino-British College Art Exhibition opened a new chapter in the art exchange between the two sides. The works of Lincoln University students reflect the cultural characteristics of the British mainland. I hope that the students from both sides will send out new artistic sparks through this exchange.

Finally, DU Zhibo announced the opening of the design work of the University of Lincoln-Shaanxi University of Science and Technology. After the opening ceremony, the teachers and students of both sides visited the exhibition together.

The Sino-British College Student Exchange Exhibition showcases works by students from the College of Design and Art of Shaanxi University of Science and Technology and the College of Art of the University of Lincoln, UK. This exhibition covers a wide range of design categories including graphic design, interactive design and illustration design. Through the collision and integration of different cultures between China and Britain, the friendship and cooperation between the university students of the two countries will be enhanced.
