[60^thAnniversary] SUST 2018 graduate fashion design conference held in Century Golden Flower By Hao Feng

On the afternoon of June 1st, the“The 60th Anniversary and Arts”series of events - the 2018 graduation fashion design conference was held in Century Golden Flower. Vice President Guo Xiaopeng, people in charge of propaganda department, educational affairs and members of the Youth League Committee of the College of Design and Arts attended the conference. Tian Fuhai, President of the China Textile Industry Federation; Yan Jiamin, Chairman of the Shaanxi Textile Industry Association; Hu Chunlin, Deputy Director of the Social Affairs Bureau of the Chongqing Administrative Committee; Li Yiming, Deputy Director of the Cultural Heritage Bureau of Qinhan New City in Xixian New District; Director Qin Yue, relevant person in charge of the Century Golden Flower, leader of the Silk Road International Creative Dream Workshop, guests from the sister universities of Northwest University College of Art, Xi'an Engineering University School of Clothing and Art, Xi'an University of Arts and Arts and other sister universities were invited to attend.

The Executive Director of the Academy of Fine Arts, Zhan Qinchuan, said in his final comment that professional development cannot be separated from the background. Under the“One Belt and One Road”initiative, cultural rejuvenation and cultural exploration have become the new spiritual orientation of today’s society. Youth must show their professional characteristics, seize the opportunity of the new era, and strive to write a new chapter for the artist.

The conference has been prepared for half a year. Since November 2017, 13 professional teachers have led 60 professional graduates and more than 150 groups of work of 20 students have been selected to the show. Students in the design process, in-depth digging of the multi-dimensional content of the Silk Road culture, the classics of these historical remains expressed in a modern design context, the design works show the traditional dress structure to break loose and re-create, salute "Belt and Road", new interpretations of traditional colors and new life are given.

A total of nine awards, including the first, second and third prizes, the best visual effects, the best ideas and the best craftsmanship, were selected on the conference site. This is the battle for the end of the school time, and for the new starting point for the fashion career.
