On the afternoon of January 9th, President Ma Jianzhong and vice President Li Zhijian went to the airport to meet professor Zhang Meiyun and her team members who returned from the prestigious 2017 national science and technology award conference.

At 2 PM, when professor Zhang Meiyun and her team appeared in the waiting hall, they were warmly welcomed by teachers and students. Ma Jianzhong congratulated and welcomed professor Zhang Meiyun. Professor Zhang said excitedly, "Thanks for school’s concern and training."

The "quality” and "academic" of the 2017 national science award have been further improved and the competition has become more intense. In the Science and Technology Awards Conference on Janunary 8, Zhang Meiyun, Lu Zhaoqing, Wang Zhixin, Yang bin, Hua li, Song Shunxi, Xia Xinxing, Chen Jianbin,Luo Zhirong, and zhang Sufeng completed the innovative research results. “Function of high performance fiber paper material preparation, common key technologies” won the national scientific and technological progress second prize. Zhang meiyun was invited to attend the conference and was warmly received and rewarded by xi jinping and other party and national leaders. This is the professor jian-zhong Ma’s team won the 2006 national scientific and technological progress second prize, in 2010 won the second prize of national technological invention, after school again in the "national science and technology award" winners.
