Recently, the paper "Cooperative econometric model for regional air pollution control with the additional goal of promoting employment" was jointly completed by Professor XUE Wei from the College of Economics and Management of our university and the master student JI Xiaoqin and be published on “ Journal of Cleaner Production”. This is the first time that a graduate student of the College of Economics and Management has published a paper in the top international journals, marking a significant improvement in the quality of postgraduate training.

The thesis is the first unit of the College of Economics and Management of Shaanxi University of Science and Technology. Professor XUE Wei is the first author, and the 2017 master student JI Xiaoqin and Professor ZHAO Laijun of Shanghai Jiaotong University are co-authors. Based on the recent series of strict air pollution control policies introduced by the state in recent years, this study proposes a cooperative econometric model that considers the cost of social employment and air pollution control to alleviate the negative externalities generated by air pollution control on social employment. The Minimum Cost-Remaining Savings method distributes the benefits of regional air pollution cooperative governance. The research results show that the cooperative econometric model proposed by the thesis is superior to the current territorial governance model in terms of social employment and environmental governance costs, and has important theoretical reference value for achieving economic, social and environmental sustainable development.

"Journal of Cleaner Production" is a journal published by Elsevier, SCI indexed Journal Citation Reports, a top journal in the field of international cleaner production and sustainable development, and a TOP journal in the "Environmental Science and Ecology" category. In 2018, the journal's impact factor was 6.395, and the average impact factor for the past five years was 7.051. In the latest academic journals and conference influence list published by Google Scholar in July 2019, Journal of Cleaner Production ranked 66th in the overall ranking of all English-language journals in the world, and ranked first among sustainable development journals. According to Elsevier's 2018 CiteScore score, the journal is in the top 4% of the discipline in the International Journal of General Environmental Science.
